POST 328 MEMBERS, AUXILARY AND SAL ATTEND PATRIOTS NIGHT TO HONOR OUR VETERANS
The festivities began just before the start of a game between ALJ and Metuchen HS when Bonaccorso escorted veterans onto the field while crowds applauded them. Once the guests of honor were in place on the field, the Crusader football team charged onto the field through a runway of fireworks with American flags waving on their way to greet each veteran and thank them for their service as Lee Greenwood’s “Proud to be an American,” played in the background. Afterwards, the stadium joined together in the national anthem.
